January 6, 2012 On January 4, 2012 we finally received our long-awaited high school grade for 2011 from the State of Florida.
We are an "A" school!Bayside High School scored a total of 1228 points on the State's high school grading system where at least 1050 points are needed to earn an "A." Compared to the previous year, we made gains in Acceleration Participation, Acceleration Performance, Post-Secondary Readiness in Reading, Post-Secondary Readiness in Math, High Standards in Science, Overall Learning Gains in Reading, Overall Learning Gains in Math, and Lowest 25 Percentile Learning Gains in Reading. Our students, faculty, staff, and parents have worked together to make this achievement possible and are to be commended for their diligent commitment to excellence in education.Bayside Bears: Team Up!
